Roger Basil Binyon was born on 8 December 1919, in Watford, Hertfordshire

 

Son of Major Basis Binyon and Gladys Elsie Rosa Binyon.

 

He had one sister Margaret Howard Buckely and one brother Hugh Douglas Binyon 

 

Married to Dorothy Perkins.

 

 

Captain Binyon was reported missing on 24-09-1944 in the Sonnenberg area after attacking a German Flame throwing tank, of Panzer Company 224.

 

After the war his father made enqueries about what had happened to his son.
