KIA Information: Known to have been killed when the plane he was in was shot down and crashed near Rijnsteeg west of Wageningen.

When a US Grave unit came to take away the US crew members, his body was mistakenly taken for a US crew member and also taken from Wageningen Cemetery. When it turned out that it was a British soldier, he was re-buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Belgium.
