KIA Information: Known to have been in by a shell in a defensive position near the Sonnenberg house. At one time believed to be the then unknown soldier recovered in 1990 and buried in grave 23.C.19 on Arnhem/Oosterbeek War Cemetery.

 

Could he be the soldier found together with Glider pilot Sergeant L.W. Howes in 1994, and be buried at grave 25.C.7  Arnhem-Oosterbeek War Cemetery, as this is not Glider pilot Sergeant David Thompson.
